The GODAN Secretariat is proud to launch a new programme for 2018 called the GODAN Champions programme. This new initiative will seek 10 individuals to apply to act as a GODAN Champion this year.
What is a GODAN Champion?
A GODAN Champion is a regional specialist who can communicate in local languages and has good general knowledge of the reality of international development in a region or continent. They agree to be the local spokesperson for their local region and work to enhance general GODAN brand awareness in the area.
How does someone become a champion?
Champions must be able to demonstrate previous commitment to GODAN, in a strategic thematic focus or region. A Champion applies directly to the GODAN Secretariat on an annual basis and is selected by the Secretariat. They will take on a commitment term of one year. Champions will be identified in public and at related events by wearing a specially made green “G” badge that identifies them as one.
