GODAN was at the Digital Economy and Agricultural Forum in Bangkok, Thailand. GODAN was asked to participate in the training of more than a hundred senior civil servants on the benefits of an open data policy and roadmap in agriculture, and how to open data.

Andre Laperrière, Executive Director for GODAN said Thailand is moving fast towards the digital economy, with agriculture at the centre of it.  Five teams presented the preparatory work they have been working on in the last three months. The event culminated in a full training day and workshop aimed at establishing concrete steps towards a roadmap before the end of the year.
