A select group of 30 people from around the world will meet in Crete on 18-21 May in an international gathering hosted by GODAN partner Agroknow.
They all work on various aspects of open sharing and discovery of information related to agriculture, food and the environment. They will represent organisations such as the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) , the French Agronomic Institute (INRA) and the Wageningen University (WUR) of the Netherlands.
They will spend four day together, working, networking, connecting.
In the context of strategic discussions and planning, in order to bring together and align existing efforts and initiatives that build parts of a shared data infrastructure, the afternoon of 19 May will be all about big data challenges and use cases.
