As part of the Open Data for Development Network, the Open Data Institute, the Organization of American States, the Open Data Charter and City of Buenos Aires are pleased to be hosting the 3rd Global “Open Data Leaders Summit” which will take place on the 25th September 2018 in Buenos Aires, Argentina at Palacio Lezama (Av. Martín García 344, Buenos Aires).
The Open Data Leaders Summit is a forum for government leaders to come together to learn, reflect and collaborate. It is designed for individuals leading the strategy, policy, or implementation of open data within their countries to share knowledge and best practices.
This year the Summit will be a key opportunity for participants to hear about latest developments in the field from a global perspective, discuss threats and opportunities, and network with each other. The event will be a valuable forum for government leaders to connect with each other ahead of the main conference. In particular, it will be a chance from representatives from the Latin America and Caribbean (LAC)’s regional network to showcase their leadership.
